Two more towers have been declared unsafe in Chintel Paradiso Society, where two people died after Tower D partially collapsed last year, officials said on Tuesday, citing a structural audit report by IIT-Delhi. Said.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Vishram Kumar Meena said that towers E and F of the society in Sector 109 are not suitable for living. Working.

“In the structural audit of Towers E and F, the IIT-Delhi team has found structural deficiencies in the construction of these towers and repairs are not feasible on technical and economic grounds. IIT-Delhi had earlier declared Tower D unsafe in its inspection report released in November 2022, whose assessment report is also being shared with the residents of the tower and the developer for the settlement process.

ADC Meena, who is also the chairman of the SIT, said, “Recent reports have found high chloride content in the concrete used in the construction of buildings. Due to which the steel and concrete used in the construction got destroyed.” The district administration will investigate the February 2022 incident.
