The 937 cc, Testastretta, 11° L-twin engine is liquid-cooled and makes 110 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 93 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. There is a 6-speed gearbox with up/down quickshifter as standard. Compared to the previous Ducati Monster 821, the engine makes more power, a 2 bhp increase in output, while maximum torque goes up to 6 Nm.
