26 new universities will participate in this Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 for admission to their undergraduate courses from this year. The first edition of CUET UG saw the participation of 90 universities and now the number has increased to 116.
University Grants Commission (UGC) made it mandatory to participate University to use CUET score for admission purposes of the students. The commission also gave freedom to universities to decide their own admission process. 10 universities which were exempted from participating in CUET UG last year except Nagaland University have been included this year.

To register for the exam, candidates need to visit the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. As per the schedule, the second edition of CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted from May 21 to May 31.
