India’s daily Covid curve showed a slight improvement today as the country registered 3.37 lakh cases, which is about 2.7 per cent lower than yesterday. With 389 crore cases, India is the second most affected country after the US.

Here are the top 10 updates on Coronavirus in India:

  1. Active cases have increased to 21,13,365, which is the highest in 237 days. active case It now comprises 5.43 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has come down to 93.31 per cent. The daily positivity rate has dropped from 17.94% to 17.22% while the weekly positivity rate has been recorded at 16.65 percent.

  3. The cumulative COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed the 161 crore mark. According to the government, 94 percent of India’s adults have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 72 percent of adults have been fully vaccinated.
