Local media reported that three people were killed and four others were injured in a shooting in Los Angeles. This is the fourth mass shooting in California this month.
According to the news agency Associated Press, the shooting took place in Beverly Crest, a prominent neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The incident comes days after a shooting at a dance venue in California following Lunar New Year celebrations. Eleven people were killed and nine others were injured in Sunday’s shooting.
A few days later, a gunman killed seven of his co-workers at a mushroom farm in Half Moon Bay, south of San Francisco.
The two horrific incidents, both involving semi-automatic weapons, stunned California’s large Asian American community as people struggled to accept what had happened.
