37th National Games: State Sports Minister Govind Goude said that Goa is ready to host the event in November

Goude is looking at holding the National Games from the first week of November and the exact dates will be announced soon, Goude said in an IOA statement.

Goa is on track to host the 37th National Games in the first week of November, state Sports Minister Govind Goude said after a meeting with top officials of the Indian Olympic Association here on Tuesday.

The four-member team led by Goude met IOA President PT Usha, Vice President Gagan Narang and Joint Secretary Kalyan Choubey, among others.

Keeping in view the international sports calendar (September 23 to October 8), Goa is looking at hosting the National Games from the first week of November and the exact dates will be announced soon, Goude said in an IOA statement. .

“The logo of the Games will be launched on April 15 and an IOA delegation will soon visit Goa to assess the preparations and finalize the technical requirements for the conduct of each Games,” said an IOA release.

Gujarat hosted the last edition of the Games in September-October last year.
