Admission Committee for Professional Courses announced on Monday that at the end of the first round of admission Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Computer Application A total of 3,273 students have been allotted seats in (MCA) courses, while 13,952 seats are left vacant in both the courses. 18 MBA in Government and Grants-in-aid and MCA College and 157 self financed colleges in the state.
An ACPC statement said that out of 12,115 MBA seats, 2,387 seats have been filled while 9,728 seats are vacant. In MCA, the admission committee has admitted 886 students and 4,224 seats are yet to be filled.
The second round of admission will start from September 6 and the last date for registration will be September 10, the statement said. Sources said that since a large number of seats are still vacant, the admission committee may also conduct an offline round.
