Following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II on September 8 this year, people are mourning and remembering the monarch for her famous reign. One of the interesting things that have come to light about her is the late queen’s drinking habit that has surprised us all!

As interesting as it sounds, Rani used to consume about 4 cocktails a day! And we’re not kidding. This is true.

These were a set of cocktails that the emperor drank every day. Former royal chef Darren McGrady has revealed that the Queen used to have her first drink shortly before lunch. The drink is made from gin and Dubonnet with a slice of lemon and lots of ice. She used to enjoy this drink very much.

After lunch, the queen used to have a piece of chocolate and a glass of wine after her meal. The Queen also had a dry gin martini and the secret was revealed by her cousin Margaret Rhodes.

And finally, the queen had her last drink of the day, a glass of champagne before bedtime. These four drinks are just what we can call the royal concoction of class and elegance!

It seems that the queen was mostly a gin person and gin has a lot of benefits in terms of health and skin. More gin means less wrinkles, it is a low calorie drink and yes, it definitely helps you live longer!

Not only that, the monarch had a favorite type of cake that was specially made for him by the cooks at Buckingham Palace. She had a piece of a chocolate biscuit cake every day and at the end if there was even a little left, the queen would. He was accompanied by a senior chef on his trip so that he could make his favorite breakfast of the day.
