4 terrorists killed in back-to-back encounters in Kashmir’s Shopian

Security forces had launched separate operations in Drach and Mulu areas of Shopian on Tuesday.

Security forces have killed four terrorists in one after the other encounter in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir.

Quoting the Additional Director General of Police, Kashmir Police tweeted from its official handle, out of the four terrorists, three were associated with the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and the fourth was associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Jaish’s three terrorists killed Police said that two have been identified as Hanan bin Yakub and Jamshed, who were involved in the recent killing of a special police officer and a laborer in Pulwama, in the encounter that took place at Drach in Shopian.

Security forces had conducted separate operations in Drach and Mulu areas of Shopian on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Police said that the encounter is still going on in Mulu.
