Ludhiana: Total 46 cases of covid And no death was reported on Sunday. A day earlier, one person died of Covid while 65 tested positive for the disease. Health department officials said the active cases have reached 271.
He said 3,589 samples were taken on Sunday, of which 2,403 were done through RTPCR and through 1,172 rapid antigen test and through 14 trunata,
A total of 3,005 Kovid deaths have taken place in Ludhiana so far.
At least 1,135 persons who died were from other districts/states. Health officials also said that 38,35,807 samples have been tested.
It said that 44 persons from Ludhiana tested positive while two people from outside districts/states were found infected on Sunday.
There are 274 ventilators, including 18 in various government hospitals.
No patient from Ludhiana or other areas is currently on ventilator.
Health experts have advised the residents of the city to be vigilant to control the spread of the infection. He said that it is necessary to follow the Kovid protocol like wearing a mask.
