484 Covid cases registered in Delhi, 3 dead; Positivity rate 0.95 percent | Delhi News – Times of India

New Delhi: Delhi recorded 484 fresh Covid-19 cases and three deaths on Sunday, while the positivity rate stood at 0.95 per cent, according to data shared by the city’s health department. With this, the number of cases in the national capital rose to 18,59,634 and the death toll to 26,122.
The health bulletin said the number of Covid-19 tests conducted a day earlier stood at 50,759.
Delhi on Saturday reported 440 fresh Covid-19 cases and two deaths, while the positivity rate stood at 0.83 per cent. A day earlier, it recorded 460 cases with a positivity rate of 0.81 per cent and two deaths.
On Thursday, the national capital reported 556 fresh Covid cases and six deaths with a positivity rate of 1.1 per cent.
There has been a decline in the number of daily cases in Delhi after touching a record high of 28,867 on January 13.
According to the health department data, the city recorded a positivity rate of 30.6 per cent on January 14, the highest during the ongoing wave of the pandemic.
Amidst the decline in daily cases, the number of patients coming under home isolation here has also come down significantly in the last two weeks.
As of February 1, the total number of home isolation cases stood at 12,312. On Sunday it was 1,479. The number of containment zones also came down to 4,777.
Hospitals in Delhi have 11,089 beds for Covid patients and only 180 (1.62 per cent) of them are occupied. The bulletin of the Health Department states that a total of 180 Kovid patients were in hospitals.
