The world’s largest national flag made of Khadi was displayed to the public on the India-Pakistan border in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on January 15, on the occasion of 74th Army Day. The flag was 225 feet long and 150 feet wide. Army Day is celebrated every year on 15 January in the memory of the first Indian Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Kodandera M Cariappa of the Indian Army.
