David Malan scored a brilliant half-century and pacer Chris Woakes took three wickets as England beat Pakistan by 67 runs in Lahore on Sunday to win the seven-match T20I series 4-3.
Malan smashed an unbeaten 47-ball 78 as Harry Brooke (46 not out) and Ben Duckett (30) backed him to take England to 209-3 in 20 overs.
The visitors then restricted the home team to 142-8 and ended their first tour of Pakistan in 17 years with a series win.

England won the first, third, sixth and seventh matches while Pakistan won the second, fourth and fifth matches.
The result denied Pakistan their maiden T20I multi-game series win over England, who have won five while drawing the other two.
Pakistan never recovered from losses in the first two overs to in-form Babar Azam and their top run-scorer of the series, Mohammad Rizwan.
Woakes caught Azam for four at short cover, before Reece Tople bowled Rizwan for a run off his second ball.
Shan Masood’s 56 off 43 balls went in vain as Pakistan were never looking for their highest successful target.
Pakistan’s best chase in T20Is was 208 which they achieved against West Indies in Karachi last year.
Khushdil Shah made 27 off 25 balls and added 53 runs for the fourth wicket with Masood but was removed by leg-spinner Adil Rashid to break the stand.

Woakes, who took 3-26 runs, dismissed Asif Ali (seven) and to end Pakistan’s hopes, Masood was given a brilliant catch by Adil Rashid in the 19th over.
England captain Moeen Ali, who stood by the side of tour captain Jos Buttler, who did not play a match due to a calf injury, said it was a “great game”.
“We played well from the start and the batsmen scored well while I thought our bowling was great in wet conditions.
Azam expressed grief over the loss of the opening wicket.
“We were chasing 200 plus and because we lost two crucial wickets early, that made our chase difficult and credit goes to England for playing better,” the Pakistan captain said.
Earlier, Malan and Brooke led England’s recovery to 39-2, with openers Alex Hales (18) and Phil Salt (20) going after quick starts of 39 runs – both falling in the fifth over.
With Azam twice for 29 and Mohammad Wasim for 62, Malan hit eight fours and three sixes in his 13th half-century of T20I career.
Malan put the innings back on track by adding 62 runs for the third wicket with a duck.
Brooke, who was dropped for 24 by Azam off Haris Rauf, hit four sixes and a four in his 29-ball knock and added 108 for the fourth wicket with Malan in 10.1 overs.
For Pakistan, fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain made 1-32 and fellow fast bowler Wasim scored 61 runs in four wickets less overs.
England attacked Pakistan and scored 60 runs in their last five overs.
