An 8-year-old girl was raped in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan for not having her parents. Police have arrested the accused.

An 8-year-old girl from Kathmandu, living in a mansion in ward number 8 of Jhunjhunu, was raped by her neighbor Karuva Sarki.
He took the girl to his room with chocolates and raped her.
The accused lived with his son and daughter-in-law, who were in Nepal at the time of the incident. His grandson who lived with him was also not at home.
The victim was alone at home with her younger sister who was sleeping and her parents were at work.
The accused, who was called “Dada” by the girl, called the girl to his room where he raped her. Later he told his mother about the incident, after which she lodged a case in the police station.
Soon after, the accused was arrested from his place.
A team of three doctors at BDK Hospital also conducted the potency test of the accused.
The accused, who accepted the offense and apologized, has been produced in the court and sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is being done.
