Twitter user Mir Asif Aziz responded to Rowling’s tweet, writing, “Don’t worry you’re next.” Aziz’s Twitter bio described him as a “student, social worker, political activist and research activist”.
In response, Rowling wrote to Twitter executives with screenshots of Aziz’s death threats. Rowling tweeted with a screenshot of the threat, “@TwitterSupport Any chance of some support?”
