Remember the iconic Majnu Bhai from Bollywood The movie ‘Welcome’? Now is the time to welcome him to your head rent-free, because Twitter says so. In a viral post on the microblogging platform, a man who goes by Aanchal (@ohbatra) shared a picture of himself standing in front of a painting, which looks like the infamous painting of Majnu Bhai from the film. Or it would be, if Majnu bhai could paint really well. In case you didn’t know, Majnu Bhai was an underworld don played by Anil Kapoor, and the painting of the film has been the subject of a lot of memes and jokes over the years. The original poster on Twitter captioned it, “Can’t believe I found Majnu Bhai’s painting today.” The similarity comes from the fact that both paintings are of multicolored horses, and the blues, oranges and yellows used in both, Twitter thinks, may not even be a coincidence. Well what can we say? Life imitates art sometimes.

However, Twitter users were not quick to agree. Majnu Bhai’s painting surpasses many great arts in its brilliance. Reactions ranged from Majnu Bhai’s approved look to the demand to sell the painting as NFT.

Majnu Bhai was last on Twitter in 2019, when Anil Kapoor shared that his beloved character’s artwork had traveled far and wide after learning that it was the proud residence of none other than Queen Elizabeth . Unfortunately, he was only joking. The veteran actor got an edited picture of Rani along with the captains of all the teams participating in the ICC World Cup 2019, with Majnu Bhai’s horse artwork in the background, and it has got the actor ROFL-ing. He couldn’t help but share the meme on Twitter. He wrote, “Majnu bhai’s art has traveled far and wide @BazmeeAnees! This is truly priceless!” The original painting in the picture was replaced by a morphed painting by Majnu Bhai. The original picture was shared by the official Twitter account of the royal family and was later retweeted by Virat Kohli on his Twitter handle The picture was taken before the World Cup tournament at Buckingham Palace.
