Days ahead of his visit to India, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has tested positive for COVID-19, his office said on Monday (March 28, 2022). It further revealed that Bennett is feeling well and will continue to work in self-isolation at home. Naftali was to visit to commemorate 30 years of diplomatic relations between India and Israel. Bennett is visiting India from 3-5 April at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders had earlier met on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26) in Glasgow in November last year. They also had a telephonic conversation on August 16, 2021.
