Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max reportedly has very fast charging rate, tests have revealed. According to a tweet by a reliable tipster, Ice Universe, the tests revealed that the iPhone 13 Pro Max was reaching charging speeds of up to 27W.
Following the revelations, a YouTube channel ChargerLab conducted repeated tests on the battery of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The results showed that the phone was consistently reaching charging speeds of up to 27W when connected to a charger capable of charging with speeds of 30W or more.
While Apple hasn’t revealed why it kept this feature a secret, we can expect the peak charging speed to drop once the battery reaches a certain percentage point. This helps to maintain the battery life of the unit without the need for complete replacement. Apple may have kept this feature a secret.
While Android devices reach charging speeds of up to 100W, this affects the overall health of the unit and can only be resolved with a replacement.
