Pujara scored 203 runs – his third century in three matches for Sussex – as wicketkeeper Rizwan made his home debut for the South Coast club with a 79.

Both Pujara and Rizwan are in Sussex, a rare example of Indian and Pakistani cricketers leaving for the same team.
India severed bilateral cricket ties with Pakistan after the 2008 Mumbai attacks, for which officials blamed Pakistani terrorists, and the teams now only play each other in multi-nation events.
South Asian rivals have not faced each other in bilateral series since Pakistan toured India in 2012/13 for a set of One Day Internationals and Twenty20 matches.

In the First Division, uncapped Hampshire batsman Nick Gubbins met his hopes of making a England No damage was done, scoring his second century of the match against the Lancashire attack led by James Anderson.
