The artists from Bengaluru released a music video, which is featuring Sajjad Ali. Inspired by the songs and compositions of

Kannada film actor Gotham C and ad filmmaker Raghav Bhotika joined hands with like-minded friends and started 21 Gram Collective, which is passionate about making music videos and movies. The collective released their music video on their YouTube channel titled “Her Victim”.

The video features Siri Ravikumar, Gautam C and Mahir and is directed by Raghav. “Har Zulm” is sung by Srikant Yajurvedi and the song is based on a song by Sajjad Ali. “Sajjad is a director, composer and lyricist based in Pakistan,” says Srikanth. “The first time I heard the Indian version of the same song, I wanted to hear the original. This is how I first heard the origin story of Sajjad Ali. The tune was addictive and the song was soul influencing. I just couldn’t stop humming it. That’s when we decided to make our own version of the same song, which talks about three friends and the journey. ,

‘Har Zulm’ is a tribute to Ali’s song, says Gautam. “The music video is set in the ’80s and takes you through the journey of three friends who were once close and how they go through the complexities of emotion.”

‘Har Zulm’ is his second music video, his first being ‘Sahne Torede’, which was released a few months back on Rakshit Shetty’s Paramwah music channel. “The song was talking about mental health,” says Gautam. “It was inspired by the lockdown and COVID-19. Appeared in the video ‘Sahane Torede’ directed by Gautam Raghav. Gautham is best known for his role in SD Aravind’s film mothers And currently waiting for the release of Jayant Sis love in the time of COVIDWhere he will be seen sharing the screen with Rakesh Maiya.

‘Har Zulm’ was created on the basis of pure collaboration, says Gautam. “All of us from the cinematographer, Vishnu Tenkayala and the actors to the make-up man, came together to make this video. The song was shot at a farm house and a college in Bangalore. The team enjoys making music videos because music videos have an infinite shelf life and can go viral, no matter what time it was released. ,
