A total of 736 Afghans were registered for fresh registration in India from August 1 to September 11: UNHCR

UNHCR said it has also established an Afghanistan Emergency Cell and a dedicated help page for Afghans providing comprehensive information on registration and assistance.

Additional 24/7 helplines were set up to answer questions round the clock and direct engagement with Afghan communities was enhanced. More than 130 calls are received daily, mainly inquiring about support and registration.
