AAJ KA PANCHANG, 19 MAY, 2024: On this day, the Ekadashi Tithi and Dwadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha will be observed, as per the Drik Panchang. Devotees across the country will celebrate Mohini Ekadashi and Parashurama Dwadashi on May 19, 2024.

Mohini Ekadashi is deeply religious and spiritually significant to Hindus. This is considered an excellent day to worship Lord Vishnu. There are 24 observances of Ekadashi. A month has two Ekadashi, one during Shukla Paksha and one during Krishna Paksha.

Mohini Ekadashi is one of the most important Ekadas. Meanwhile, Parshuram Dwadashi is another Hindu festival celebrated in honour of Lord Parshuram, who is considered the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

The sun is anticipated to rise at 5:28 AM and set around 7:07 PM. The moon is likely to rise at 3:24 PM and set at 3:18 AM on May 20.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR MAY 19

The Ekadashi Tithi will persist until 1:50 PM on May 19 after which it will transition to the Dwadashi Tithi. The Hasta Nakshatra will be visible up to 3:15 AM followed by the Chitra Nakshatra. According to the Drik Panchang, the moon will be positioned in the Kanya Rashi while the sun will be in the Vrishabha Rashi.

Furthermore, the Sayahna Sandhya muhurta is likely to span from 7:07 PM to 8:09 PM. The Pratah Sandhya muhurta is said to occur between 4:26 AM and 5:28 AM. Lastly, the Amrit Kalam muhurta is scheduled from 8:33 PM to 10:20 PM.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR MAY 19

The ashubh muhurta or inauspicious timings for the day are as follows: The Rahu Kalam is anticipated to last from 5:25 PM to 7:07 PM. The Gulikai Kalam time frame is slated to occur between 3:43 PM and 5:25 PM, whereas the Yamaganda muhurta is predicted to be effective from 12:18 PM to 2:00 PM. The Dur Muhurtam will occur from 5:18 PM to 6:13 PM and the Varjyam muhurta will take place between 9:48 AM and 11:35 AM. Lastly, the Baana muhurta is slated to occur in Raja until 10:38 PM.
