New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party The (AAP) on Wednesday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had approached four of its Delhi MLAs asking them to join the saffron party, else they would face “false cases, CBI and ED”.
Addressing the press conference in the national capital, AAP’s national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh told the MLAs- Ajay Dutt, Sanjeev Jha, Somnath Bharti and Kuldeep Kumar – was approached by BJP leaders with whom he had “friendly relations”.

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convener Arvind on Twitter Kejrival Said that it is “a very serious matter” and a meeting of the party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) has been called at his residence at 4 pm to “take stock of the situation and work out further strategy”. .

Singh said, “They (four AAP MLAs) have been offered Rs 20 crore each for joining the BJP and Rs 25 crore for bringing other MLAs along.
They (BJP leaders) told our MLAs that if they do not accept the offer and join BJP, they will also face false cases, like CBI and ED (Delhi Deputy Chief Minister) Manish Sisodia is facing. Huh. added.
Singh accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of trying to bring the AAP MLAs to the BJP fold by “hook or crook” and topple the Kejriwal government.
He said, “Modiji is trying to topple the Delhi government by alienating AAP MLAs from the party and misusing the investigating agencies, sending its people to pay money and threatening to face consequences if they do not switch sides. ,” They said.
Singh claimed that BJP leaders with whom Dutt, Jha, Bharti and Kumar have “friendly relations” had come to meet him with an “offer” from the saffron party.
“The experiment which was successful (in the case of Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde in Maharashtra) and failed in Manish Sisodia’s case is now being tried on our MLAs,” he said.
“Shame on you Modi ji,” Singh said and asked the prime minister to “stop” such efforts and focus on addressing issues like inflation and unemployment in the country.
AAP MLAs can neither be informed nor lured with money to switch sides because they have come out of a “movement”, the Rajya Sabha member said during the 2011 Anna Hazare-led India Referring to the Against Corruption movement, he said- led the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre.
Four AAP MLAs who were allegedly approached by the BJP were also present at the press conference.

Taking to Twitter, Sisodia warned the BJP-led Center against attempting to “reach out” AAP MLAs by misusing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and offering money, and said they would “give up their lives”. But will not betray his party as he is a “soldier” of Kejriwal and a follower of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
