AAP protests in Nagpur over Manish Sisodia’s arrest by CBI. Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur : Member of Aam Aadmi Party (AAPProtests were held in the city on Monday against the arrest of senior party leader and Delhi minister. Manish Sisodia Party MP Sanjay Singh, who was about to reach Nagpur, was also detained in the capital by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
During the next two years a party convention, the Rashtra Nirman Sankalp Sabha, was held in the city to discuss the party’s roadmap in view of the upcoming elections, in which civic polls were the most awaited. With Singh unable to participate, other leaders took on the task of sharing the broad blueprint for the party.
Senior AAP leader Haribhau Rathod said, “Today there is a situation in the country where BJP is misusing central agencies.”
He further said that the citizens of the country are aware of everything. “Don’t be under the impression that the citizens of this country are sleeping. They are watching everything and BJP will have to pay for its sins.

Addressing the party members, AAP’s Vidarbha coordinator Devendra Wankhede said, “We have a long struggle ahead of us and we will ensure that you bring good governance to the people.”
After the party convention, the group staged a protest at Reshambagh Square. During the protest, Rachure said, “We are against misuse of central agencies and attack on AAP leaders, which is done only for political purpose.”
