AAP reveals second list of candidates for Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023

Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: Aam Aadmi Party announced second list of 21 candidates, on October 28, for elections to the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly.

The list includes candidate Manish Sharma who will be contesting from Bikaner West assembly, Archit Gupta from Civil Lines assembly, Rohit Josh who will be contesting from Jodhpur assembly, Narpat Singh who will be contesting from Marwar Junction assembly among others.

AAP released its first list of 23 candidates on October 26 for the upcoming Rajasthan assembly elections scheduled for November 25 and the results will be declared on December 3, reported PTI.

In a post on X, the party extended its best wishes to the candidates and expressed optimism about the electoral prospects. The post stated, “First list of candidates for Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023 is here. All the best to all the candidates. This time the broom will work. #EkMaukaKejriwalKo.”

The list includes Dr. Harish Raheja, who will be contesting from the Ganganagar assembly constituency, Rajendra Mavar as the candidate from Pilani and Devendra Katara representing Dungarpur.

AAP had previously confirmed its intention to participate in the upcoming assembly elections across three states including Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

In these elections, the Congress party is seeking to maintain its control of the state by focussing on social welfare agenda. Meanwhile, the primary opposition party BJP is targeting the Ashok Gehlot government on various issues, including allegations of paper leaks, corruption and concerns related to law and order.
