A Haryana court on Friday absolved Abdul Karim Tunda in the 1997 Rohtak bomb blast case. Tunda’s lawyer gave this information. Advocate Vineet Verma said Rohtak’s Additional Sessions Judge Raj Kumar Yadav sentenced 80-year-old Tunda to death due to lack of evidence. Tunda was produced in the court through video conference. Tunda is currently lodged in the Central Jail in the middle of Rajasthan. He will remain in jail as many other cases are coming up before him.
