Keeping the data of 75 ministries and departments under the jurisdiction of the Centre, the affidavit said that out of the total staff strength of 27,55,430, 4,79,301 are SC, 2,14,738 are ST and the number of OBC employees is 4, 57,148. SC 17.3%, ST 7.7% and OBC 16.5% of the total central government employees in percentage terms.
