Meanwhile, 11 new cases were reported in the state in the last 24 hours and 15 were cured. Officials said there are 139 active cases left in the state, of which around 85% are in home isolation, while the remaining 15% are hospitalised.
Data from the Covid-19 bulletin indicated that 45% of the total active cases in the state were reported from just three districts, including Lucknow (31), Gautam. Buddha Nagar (16) and Prayagraj (15). It also revealed that 39 districts of the state are free from any active case of infection, while 13 districts have only one active case left. Officials said the state’s recovery rate was around 98.7% and the death rate was 1.3%. Health officials have warned of being negligent towards the transmission of the pandemic and its protection protocols, especially during the festive season.
