Bigg Boss 15 is going to add one more name to the list of its contestants. Weekend Ka Vaar on Sunday, Host Salman Khan Marathi leader Abhijeet Bichukale will be welcomed as the new wild card entry along with Rashmi Desai and Devoleena Bhattacharjee. While Rashmi and Devoleena as well-known faces of television, Abhijeet has managed to stay in the news due to his statements. At the very beginning of the promo of BB 15, he said that he wants to bring ‘Sanskar’ in Bigg Boss 15. He was last seen in Bigg Boss Marathi 2.
Who is Abhijit Bichukale?
Reportedly, he is a social worker and a political leader from Maharashtra, who has contested from Municipal Corporation to Parliament. When Mahesh Majrekar, the special guest of Salman Khan’s show, asked Bichukale about him, he described himself as an artist, writer, poet, singer and creator who one day wants to become the President or Prime Minister of the country.

In 2019, the police broke into the sets of Marathi “Bigg Boss 2” and arrested the then contestant Abhijeet Bichukale in connection with a check bounce case. A police team from Satara, along with personnel from Aarey Colony police station in Goregaon East, reached the ‘Bigg Boss 2’ house in Film City after an arrest warrant was issued by a Satara court against the political activist and arrested him.
Though the team and contestants of the reality show were taken aback, there was no protest against the police action. Bichukale was taken to Satara and produced before the court. The check bounce case was going on in the court since 2015, but despite repeated summons, he allegedly failed to appear before the judge, following which an arrest warrant was issued.
Bichukale has already created panic in the house. In the recent promo, Abhijeet said that he will lose his patience if Neha Bhasin keeps getting violent inside the BB House. Sharing a stage with Mahesh Manjrekar, Salman Khan and other wild card entrants Rashmi and Devoleena, he said, “The rites are a little less here.” An angry Devoleena asks him why he decided to come on the show, if he thinks so. Opposing him, Abhijeet said, he will fix things.
Currently, there is a strong competition going on between the contestants Jai Bhanusali, Vishal Kotian, Nishant Bhat, Prateek Sahajpal, Neha Bhasin, Karan Kundra, Tejashwi Prakash, Umar Riaz and Simmba Nagpal.
