About Beetroot Idli Recipe: How to Make Beetroot Idli for Breakfast

First you have to grind the beetroot with green chilies and ginger until it becomes a smooth paste. If the paste is too thick, you can add a little water while grinding. After this, put beetroot paste, semolina, curd and salt in a bowl. Mix it well and prepare a thick batter. Keep it aside for some time.

Now you have to make a tempering. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, chopped onion and curry leaves. Pour in the prepared tempering solution. Add some fruit salt and mix well. Pour the batter into the idli molds and cook in steam for 10 minutes. Beetroot Idli is ready!
