Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) BJP chief Sharad said on Friday that the symbol of ‘bow and arrow’ has been removed from the BJP, BJP will not make any difference to the BJP as the public will accept their new symbol. Pawar’s BJP is an ally of Thackeray’s BJP.

The participants reacted to the Election Commission’s (EC) decision to recognize the faction headed by Eknath Shinde as the real BJP and declare it to have the original symbol ‘bow and arrow’.
The NCP chief advised the Thackeray group, “Whenever a decision comes, there should be no discussion. Admit it, get a brand new one. It (old broken) will not make any difference.
Meanwhile, senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar termed as “unpredictable” the decision of the concerned Election Commission recognizing the Eknath Shinde-led faction as the real BJP and asked why the EC was in a hurry to pronounce the verdict. He said that we BJP workers will work with Thackeray.
