acer At the Next@Acer event, the ConceptD Creator has announced three new models in its professional range of PCs. This includes the ConceptD 5 laptop, ConceptD 500 mini workstation and ConceptD 100 small form factor desktop. All three laptops are now powered by Intel’s latest generation processors and Nvidia GPUs.
Acer ConceptD 5 Laptop: Features
The ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro Creator laptops, according to the company, are designed for mobile professionals and for those who need the ability to create or edit work on the go.
The CN516-73G model is powered by an Intel Core i7-12700H processor paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU. On the other hand, the Pro configuration (CN516-73P) comes with the Nvidia RTX A5500. Both machines support up to 32GB of fast LPDDR5 SDRAM and 2TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4M.2 SSD storage.
Acer ConceptD 500 Desktop: Features
The ConceptD 500 desktop PCs sport a white minimalist design and warm amber lighting. Acer’s powerful medium-sized (20L) ConceptD 500 runs Windows 11 and includes the latest technology from Intel and Nvidia, including a 12th-generation Intel Core i9 processor and a choice of powerful graphics – either an Nvidia RTX A4000 or GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. With up to 128GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory, up to 4TB of M.2 Gen 4 SSD storage and up to 4TB HDD. The machine also offers a full range of ports for connecting to peripherals on the back and front of the unit for easy access.
Acer ConceptD 100 Desktop: Features
The ConceptD 100 is a small form factor desktop suitable for SMB creative professionals. Developed for individual 2D and 3D content creators as well as small to medium-sized design studios, it has components suitable for graphic design, light-duty 3D modeling, CAD and BIM workloads.
The latest model (CM100-53A) is powered by a 12th generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA T400 or T1000 GPU. They support up to 128 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory, up to 2 TB 7200 rpm HDD and up to 2 TB M.2 PCI-E/Gen 4 SSD. The front and rear ports make it easy to connect to a wide range of peripherals so manufacturers can quickly transfer files with a USB Type-C (10Gbps) port or an integrated SD card reader. It also includes high-speed LAN connections with speeds up to 2.5 Gbps.
