Actor Allari Naresh’s intense action-thriller film Ugram has been making headlines ever since its announcement and it released on 5th May. As per reports, Ugram took a remarkable opening and is currently running with mixed responses at the box office. According to reports, Ugram, which collected around Rs 61 lakh on the first day in both the Telugu states, collected Rs 67 lakh on the second day. And on the third day of the weekend, it collected Rs 60 lakh. According to its worldwide collection, Ugram has so far collected Rs 1.88 crore in three days. Despite the weekend, Ugram’s collections did not pick up pace. Compared to the previous day, a slight decline was observed on the third day.
Ugram is a Telugu action thriller film directed by Vijay Kanakamedala. The story is written by Tom Venkat and it stars Allari Naresh besides Mirna Menon. The film revolves around a real police officer played by Naresh. The narrative depicts how he rescues his family after they are attacked and how he punishes the criminals. Ugam was produced by Harish Peddi and Sahu Garpati under the banner of Shine Screen Production.
Ugram symbolizes the second association between Vijay and the king. Earlier, the two had worked together in the criminal courtroom drama Naandi in 2021 and the film was a huge success. Nandi featured Allari Naresh and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in the lead, and Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma and Praveen played supporting roles. The music for the film was composed by Sricharan Pakala and the cinematography was by Siddharth J.
Allari Naresh is currently busy working for his upcoming movie Sabhaku Namaskaram. This romantic comedy is directed by Satish Mallampati, produced by Mahesh Koneru under the banner East Coast and the film’s dialogues are penned by Abburi Ravi.
