Actress Kriti Sanon joins the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS club in the entertainment industry by adding a luxurious SUV to her garage.
Mercedes-Benz India has been taking the new Maybach GLS 600 to the masses across the country. The automaker’s flagship offering offers the best in luxury and the first batch of 50 units has already been spoken for. And while the boys of the Indian film industry have been flexing with SUVs lately, it is now an actress who has taken delivery of an Uber luxury SUV. Actress Kriti Sanon is taking charge here as she recently took delivery of her new prized possession. Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 price at ₹ 2.43 Cr and comes in monotone Cavansite Blue shade at Sanon Garage.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC gets all the upgrades of the coveted Maybach badge to make it more comfortable and luxurious. There’s a huge chrome grille, new 22-inch alloy wheels, chrome inserts on the side cladding, LED headlamps and more. A lot is new. Be sure to check out the Maybach logo on the C-Pillar which signifies its royal look.
Sanon upgrades from its previous daily driver Audi Q7
Inside, the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 can seat up to four with individual seats, offering the best of luxury and comfort. The cabin gets a beige and brown dual-tone interior with Nappa leather upholstery. You get different leather packages to choose from for the cabin. The extensive feature list includes rear seats, electronic panoramic sliding sunroof, ventilated massage seats and a wide range of ambient lighting options. There is also a 12.3-inch dual screen display with the latest MBUX infotainment system. The car also gets ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice command system and Mercedes Me Connected Car Tech.
Power comes from a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine that develops 550 bhp and 730 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The engine is also paired with a 48-volt system EQ Boost system that adds 21 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque for better starting acceleration and efficiency. The luxury SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250 kmph.

It is not clear whether Kriti Sanon is also holding her Audi Q7, which served as her daily driver for the longest time. She also joins the elite Maybach GLS 600 club in the entertainment industry along with actors Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana. On the work front, the ‘Mimi’ actor has several projects in hand including Aadipurush, Bachchan Pandey, Bhediya, Ganpath, Hum Do Hamari Do and more.
Meanwhile, those who want to get their hands on the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 in India will be able to do so only in 2022. The car is sold till December this year.
