Aditya Birla Health, Policybazaar launch OPD add-on cover with zero waiting

The aim of the add-on cover is to provide hassle free physical and virtual consultations, and in respect of any disease of Gynecology, Orthopedic, Pediatrician, Ophthalmologist, Physiotherapist and Nutritionist, referred or prescribed by a General Practitioner, the need of special consultation. Provides a series or injury.

Mayank Bathwal, CEO, Aditya Birla Health Insurance said, “New-age insurance is about being proactive, taking preventive measures and being there for our customer. Hence, we have come up with an OPD add-on cover with both physical and tele-consultation which can be easily accessible to the policyholders. This cover will help them to consult doctors virtually, irrespective of their location.”

Types of OPD Add-on Covers:

Option 1) 599 per Insured (Exclusive of Tax) – Unlimited physical outpatient consultations by a General Practitioner

Option 2) 799 per Insured (Exclusive of Tax) – Unlimited physical and virtual outpatient consultations by a General Practitioner

Option (3) 999 per Insured (Exclusive of Tax) – Unlimited physical and virtual outpatient consultations by a General Practitioner

There is no waiting period and the add-on starts from day one, and covers over 32,000 doctor network in over 70 cities. Select OPD add-ons will be implemented at the policy level and all the insured persons will get the benefit on an individual basis by default. The minimum and maximum age at the time of admission will be as per the Aadhaar policy.
