Admission to online credit courses begins at Pune University; Apply before 31st August

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) also known as Pune University is offering online credit courses. The courses are available free of cost on SWAYAM, a self-learning platform of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development. Students can register for admission on the official website swayam.gov.in. The application process for all these online courses is open till August 31.

Students completing these courses will be eligible for a certificate, however, in order to obtain a certificate, students must pass the exam. The exam will be conducted after the completion of the course and the exact dates have not been announced yet.

Which courses are available?

Fundamentals of office management and methods, Indian classical dance like Kathak, microeconomics, personality development and communication skills are among the courses offered through the online platform.

After the commencement of the course students can watch the video lectures and other related material. In addition, students have to submit assignments and take quizzes every week.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recommended to the students pursuing their graduation that they should complete 20 percent of the syllabus online. Hence, SPPU has encouraged all the degree seeking students to avail this opportunity.

Earlier this month, Savitribai Phule Pune University declared the admission result for undergraduate courses through online mode. Pune University Result 2022 contains information about the student’s overall grade, application ID, category, course name and other details.

The merit list for Pune University will be released soon. Students securing minimum cutoff marks will be considered for admission. After that they have to pay the fee for seat confirmation. This year the entrance exam of Pune University was held from 21st to 24th July
