Indian Air Force has invited applications for the recruitment of Officers in Flying and Ground Duty for both technical and non-technical branches. The application process has started from today – 1st December and will end on 30th December. Interested can apply through official website, careerindianairforce.cdac.in or afcat.cdac.in.
A total of 317 vacancies have been advertised by the Air Force. These jobs will come under Short Service Commission (SSC). To get selected for these jobs candidates have to clear a written test, intelligence rating test, picture perception, discussion round and psychological test. Selected candidates will be called for Group Discussion and then Interview.
AFCAT IAF Officer Recruitment 2022: Eligibility
Ages: Applicant must be at least 20 years of age to be eligible to apply. The age will be calculated with effect from January 1, 2023. The maximum age limit is 24 years for Flying Branch and 26 years for Ground Duty.
Education: Candidates must have passed class 12 with Mathematics and Physics subjects. They should also have secured minimum 50% marks in both the subjects. They should be graduate with BE or B.Tech degree with 60% marks from any recognized university.

AFCAT IAF Officer Recruitment 2022: Salary
Finally selected candidates will be paid in the bracket of Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Candidates will also get an MSP of Rs 15,500. Along with this, allowance will also be given depending on the nature of duty and place of positioning.
