Rishabh Shetty, who played the lead role in Kantara as well as the lead, recently met Rajinikanth, Days after praising the Kannada blockbuster, the veteran actor met Rishabh at his residence in Chennai. He visited Rajinikanth’s house along with Karthik Gowda, the producer of Hombale Films. Taking to Twitter, the Kantara actor shared pictures and also wrote a note thanking Rajinikanth. “Thank you Rajinikanth sir. We are forever grateful for your appreciation for our film ‘Kantara’,” the actor tweeted.

Thank you @rajinikanth sir for your valuable time.” In one picture, Rishabh is seen touching Rajinikanth’s feet and seeking his blessings and in another, Rishabh smiles while holding Rajinikanth’s hand. After hosting Rishabh, Rajinikanth also honored him by wearing a shawl.
The Kannada period action thriller, which released nationwide on 30 September, is set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada and follows a Kambala champion, played by Shetty, who comes to loggerheads with Murali, an honest forest range officer. .
