The Indian Air Force (IAF) has received over 1.83 lakh applications under the Agneepath Recruitment Scheme within six days of the registration process.
“So far 1,83,634 futuristic firefighters have applied on the registration website… registration will close on July 5, 2022,” the IAF said on Twitter.
The registration process which started from June 24 will close on July 5. Online examination process will start from July 24

Candidates wishing to apply through Short-term Contract Agneepath Scheme must submit a written undertaking that they were not involved in violent protests against the scheme.
Agneepath Salary
Agniveers will get salary package 30,000 in the first year. Then, they will get an increase of 10% every year. i.e. in the second year his salary will be 33,000 36,500 for the third year and 40,000 for the fourth year.
Around 30% of their salary will be deducted every month for the Seva Nidhi Fund. And on the end of their service, ie after 4 years, the center will add the same amount 11.77 lakh and the total amount will be paid to each Agniveer.
Agneepath Recruitment Scheme: How to Register
- New candidates who have not registered they have to click on New User Register link registration website And fill the sign up details.
- Enter the OTP received on the email ID and SMS (for country code (+91) only) for verification.
- After successful verification of sign up details a system generated password will be sent to their registered email id.
- After filling the sign up details candidate will be redirected again to the sign in page where he/she will have to fill his/her registered email id and system generated password which is sent to his/her registered email id.
- After providing the email id and system generated password, the candidate will be redirected to a new page where he/she will have to reset a new password of his/her choice.
- After setting his personal password he will be redirected to the sign in page where he should login with the registered email id and new password as decided by the candidate.
