Ahan Shetty hopes to work with Rohit Shetty, Zoya Akhtar in future

Newcomer Ahan Shetty, who made his Bollywood debut with Tadap, said, Rohit ShettyZoya Akhtar and Nitesh Tiwari are some of the directors he would like to work with. Actor Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty debuts in the Hindi remake of the 2018 Telugu romantic-action-drama “RX 100”.

Directed by Milan Luthria, “Tadap” featured Shetty along with “Student of the Year 2” actor Tara Sutaria.

The newcomer said working with Luthria was a wonderful learning experience.

“I think apart from being a director, Milan sir was the guide and mentor that I really needed as it was my first film. He really took the time and helped me to be in cinema halls while shooting for ‘Tadap’. taught me a lot about it.” Ahan said in a statement.

Though the actor is yet to announce his next project, he has expressed his desire to work with Rohit Shetty, Akhtar, Tiwari and others.

“Milan sir is definitely someone I would love to work with (again). Then there is Rohit Shetty who I am looking forward to working with. Zoya Akhtar, Nitesh Tiwari, Mohit Suri, Siddharth Anand, Aditya Dhar, Abhishek Kapoor,” Ahan said.

The theatrical release on December 3, 2021, “Tadap” earned over Rs 34 crore worldwide at the box office. The film made its digital debut on Disney+ Hotstar on Friday.

Ahan said that he is happy with the response his debut film has received from the audience.

“It’s so important to understand that it’s okay to feel a certain way to take the love and appreciation you’re getting, but don’t let it get to your head,” he said.

“Personally, I don’t believe I’ve made it yet and I won’t believe that until I have (hopefully) five or six more successful films. Never be too content and too comfortable, always Stay on your toes and want to be more and better because that’s what will motivate you.”

“Tadap” is produced by renowned filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala.
