Something that all the actors constantly talked about was how close they had become after working together in films. Both Ms. Trisha and Mr. Vikram recalled how the cast bonded on the sets and during the promotional tours. Mr. Vikram spoke of making friends for life and admired the cast and crew. Ms. Lakshmi broke down on stage, talking about her co-stars and how inspired she was to see them all perform.

Echoing her, Mr. Karthi said that he could not believe that this was the end of his journey. “It’s been three years of working with this cast and crew, and I don’t want to let it go,” he said.

“This is a film that Mani sir wanted to make for a while, and he took it as a great responsibility to tell actors like me and Ravi how to portray these characters well on screen.
