AIBE 18 Application Correction Window to Close Today, Steps to Edit – News18

The Bar Council of India (BCI) will close the online application correction window for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 18 today, October 15. Candidates can make the required changes to their AIBE 18 registration form via the official website at allindiabarexamination.com. Earlier, the last date to edit the AIBE 18 application form was October 10. However, the BCI had extended it for another five days.

The fields that can be corrected/edited in the AIBE 18 application form are candidate name, enrollment number, exam city, test centre preferences, and date of birth (DoB). Candidates cannot edit any other fields in the AIBE 18 application form, other than the above sections. If applicants need to correct any other fields, they are advised to contact the council immediately.

According to the schedule, the AIBE 18 will be conducted on October 29. The council will issue the admit card for the AIBE 18 on October 20. Candidates will be able to download it till October 25. Only those applicants who have successfully filled out and submitted the AIBE 18 application form will be able to download the hall ticket.

AIBE 18 Application Form 2023: Steps To Make Corrections

Step 1: Go to the official website at allindiabarexamination.com.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the ‘Application Correction’ or ‘Edit Application’ link.

Step 3: Then log in to your AIBE account using the credentials correctly (like registration number and password).

Step 4: Soon after logging in, you can edit the details in your AIBE 18 application form.

Step 5: Make all the necessary changes and ensure that all information is accurate and up to date.

Step 6: After making the mandatory changes, save the updated application form.

Step 7: Finally, submit it as asked.

Students in the general and OBC categories must secure 45 per cent of the possible marks in order to pass the All India Bar Examination, whilst candidates in the SC, ST, and differently-abled categories must obtain 40 per cent. For every right answer, candidates will secure one mark. Furthermore, questions that are marked incorrectly or go unanswered will not receive a negative mark.

The Bar Council of India (BCI) administers the All India Bar Examination (AIBE), a post-enrollment test, to law graduates who want to practise in India. The purpose of the test is to evaluate a candidate’s foundational understanding of the law and their practical application of it. The Certificate of Practice (COP), which permits attorneys to practise law in Indian courts, is given to qualified applicants.
