The AIMIM MP suggested an alliance with the Shiv Sena-led MVA.

Suggesting an alliance with the ruling Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress in Maharashtra, AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel has said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) three-wheeled autorickshaw can become a “comfortable car” that will stop the BJP from coming to power. can. , Jalil’s proposal was rejected by the Uddhav Thackeray-led party, while the BJP took a dig, saying such an alliance between the Asaduddin Owaisi-led party and the Shiv Sena cannot be ruled out.

Shiv Sena leader and MLC Ambadas Danve said there is no question of tying up with the party which opposes the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ and “runs on the thinking of Razakars” – to maintain Muslim rule in Hyderabad. Deployed paramilitary volunteer forces and opposed integration in India during 1947-48. Speaking to reporters in Nagpur, opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis said that AIMIM joining hands with NCP and Congress is insignificant for the BJP.

Jaleel had on Friday said that the AIMIM was not BJP’s ‘B’ team as alleged by mainstream parties and was ready to forge an alliance with the NCP and Congress.

The Aurangabad MP had said that he had spoken about All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen’s desire for an alliance when state minister and NCP leader Rajesh Tope visited his residence on Friday.

On Saturday, Jaleel said one more wheel may be added to the MVA’s three-wheeled autorickshaw to make it a “comfortable car”.

“There is no power left in them (Shiv Sena) to defeat BJP single-handedly. So they need support of Congress and NCP. I propose that add one more wheel to autorickshaw (of Maha Vikas Aghadi) and make it one Comfortable car. We have expelled the corporator who protested against singing ‘Vande Mataram’ (in Aurangabad Municipal Corporation) and has now joined the NCP,” AIMIM’s Maharashtra unit chief Jaleel told a Marathi news channel. told.

Danve said the AIMIM has always opposed Vande Mataram, uprooted the saffron (flag) here and put it green. “AIMIM is an organization that follows the Razakars’ thinking. There is no question of going with AIMIM,” he told reporters. Jaleel proposed an alliance with the NCP when state minister and NCP leader Rajesh Tope visited his residence on Friday.

“Tope met me on Friday, days after I lost my mother due to illness. It is always alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party wins ours (AIMIM- because of Muslim vote-sharing). This allegation is proved wrong. I proposed to Tope that we are ready for an alliance. However, he did not say anything about my proposal.” Asked about Shiv Sena’s possible stand with regard to AIMIM’s offer, the Aurangabad MP had said the fact is that these parties want Muslim votes.

“Why only NCP? Congress also says that they are secular and they also want Muslim votes. We are ready to join hands with them too. BJP has caused maximum damage to this country. We will do everything to defeat them. Ready to do something,” the AIMIM leader had said.

Replying to Danve on Saturday, Jalil said, “I want to say that neither he nor I were born in the time of Razakars. We (Mughal Emperor) in front of Aurangzeb’s grave, says Sanjay Raut. We bow down. We are in a new era and Aurangzeb is a part of history. No Muslim bows before any grave. He (Aurangzeb) may or may not be acceptable to you, but the fact is that he ruled the country. When I asked a specific question he turned to Aurangzeb, the Razakars”.

Danve took a dig at saying that autorickshaws provide a comfortable ride to the common people. “Shiv Sena is with the common people. We don’t need any cars. The fact is that Aurangzeb looted this country and destroyed temples. What does Jalil have to say about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj? He is also a part of history. who had contributed to this motherland and Hinduism, yet AIMIM has opposed the renaming of Aurangabad as Sambhajinagar.”
Jalil had said that AIMIM had also talked (about alliance) with Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh (elections), but they wanted the votes of Muslims and not Asaduddin Owaisi, who heads the party. .

He said, “In Maharashtra also, these parties (Congress and NCP) want Muslim votes but not AIMIM. You blame us for BJP’s victory. I propose that we fight together again.” Taking a dig at the Uddhav Thackeray-led party, Fadnavis said, “Will Sena and AIMIM come together? This cannot be ruled out. Sena has started ‘Azaan’ contest and sir Balasaheb Thackeray is saying, therefore Their coming together cannot be ruled out.”.

He said that people have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modiji and because of his leadership and development work they will bring BJP back to power.
AIMIM had won two seats in the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections.
