Aiming to return to power through the backdoor: Bandi

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is conspiring to return to power for a record third time through the backdoor by criticizing the Center for the failures of his own government and supporting the Congress in alliance with the Majlis Party and the Left, alleged the TS BJP, the Speaker said on Monday. Sanjay Kumar.

Making a strong pitch for the BJP as an alternative to the ruling BRS, the Karimnagar MP joined Sunil Bansal, Arvind Menon, Shivprakash, K.K. In the presence of national leaders like Laxman, DK Aruna and others, the extended state executive meeting said that the party would contest the elections alone and win with a majority.

“KCR never showed any gratitude though BJP played a key role in the formation of TS. He had betrayed the Congress as well and is deceiving every section of the society especially the weaker sections by making promises which are never fulfilled.

In opening remarks before the closed-door deliberations, the BJP chief said that KCR had sent money to help the Congress even as he claimed to support the JD(S) in the Karnataka elections. He alleged, “Wherever the BRS is weak here, it is sending money to Congress candidates.”

“What does the Karnataka election result have to do with the Telangana election? A section of the media and pundits are taking a partisan stand in an attempt to show that our party is weak, forgetting that our voting percentage has not changed there,” he claimed.

Mr. Sanjay Kumar said that the Congress had lost its deposit in the recent bypolls and won only two divisions in GHMC, so cannot claim to be an alternative. “People have lost faith in the party after most of the MLAs switched over to the BRS, while the remaining five MLAs are confused,” he said. Their own leaders are openly talking about an alliance with the BRS. He reiterated the promise of total fee reimbursement, houses for the poor, free health cover job calendar and agriculture insurance if the party comes to power.
