Recently the group has announced the merger of Vistara (Vistara) and Air India (Air India). The merger deal is expected to be completed by March, 2024. Vistara Airlines (Vistara Airlines) is a joint venture between Tata and Singapore Airlines (SIA). According to the information, under this merger deal (Air India-Vistara merger), SIA is going to invest Rs 2,058.5 crore in Air India.

The group has 51 per cent stake in Vistara Airlines in Vistara Airlines. While Singapore Airlines (SIA) has 49 per cent complaints. Through this deal, the airline company will strengthen its presence domestically and internationally.

Let us tell you that in January this year the group had acquired Air India. Since then, the airline company is continuously expanding its network and fleet. Air India CEO and Managing Director Campbell Wilson (Campbell Wilson) has been continuously working on the airline’s development plan since the management. The company is looking to place orders for over 300 narrow-body jets. This will be one of the largest orders in the aviation industry so far.

Air India CEO Campbell Wilson said last month that the airline aims to triple 113 different fleets over the next five years. Regarding the merger of Vistara (Vistara) and Air India (Air India), Campbell said that this would help in increasing the airplane fleet and improving its size and quality.
