Air India will buy 220 aircraft from BoE, Biden said – will have a strong partnership with India

Air India became private from 27 January 2022. The stock was taken over for Rs 18,000 crore.

Air India has signed a deal to buy 500 new aircraft. According to media reports, the deal could be worth $100 billion. It is believed that this is the biggest deal in Civil Aviation History. Under this deal, Air India will buy these aircraft from France’s company Airbus, America’s company Boeing. Air India 220 aircraft will be owned more by American Airways Company than Boeing.

Of the 220 different types of aircraft going from Boeing to African, 190 will be 737 Max narrowbody jets. 20 aircraft will be 787 widebody jets and 10 will be 777xs aircraft. However, these orders may also change. After this deal, US President Joe Biden said that America hopes to further strengthen the partnership with India.

About the task, N Chandrasekaran said- ‘Dil includes 40 wide body A350 aircraft and 210 narrowbody single-aisle A320 Neos aircraft. This is the world’s biggest aviation deal ever. It was announced at the launch event of Air India-Airbus Partnership. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Catcher and Ratan Chart were also present.

Joe Biden issued statements
US President Joe Biden’s statement came after the deal between Air India and Boeing. “It supports more than one million American governors in America’s 44 states,” the White House said on Biden’s mark. British PM also expressed happiness
British PM Hrishik has also expressed happiness over this deal. He tweeted and said- ‘Britain will also benefit from this agreement. The British company Rolls-Royce manufactures Airbus aircraft engines. Rolls-Royce is the world’s second largest manufacturer of aircraft engines.
