Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ trailer sets internet on fire, garners over one lakh views in less than 15 minutes

The official trailer of actor Ajith’s upcoming film ‘Valimai’, which released on Thursday evening, set the internet on fire with the video garnering 1.1 lakh views, less than 15 minutes after its release on YouTube. Crores of fans of the actor bought tickets to watch the trailer of the film on the big screen. The clean cut, high-energy sharp trailer of the much-awaited film directed by Vinoth dispels the fact that Ajith plays a cop named Arjun in the film and he goes after a team of criminals who believe that his Power gives them the right to take whatever they want.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the adrenaline pumping race sequence that the film has for the audience and shows Ajith explaining that the strength is only to protect others and not himself.

This is not the first time that Valimai has impressed the audience. Earlier, the making-of video of actor Ajith Kumar’s action entertainer ‘Valimai’ released by the makers of the film had set the internet on fire, garnering 85,000 likes in less than 20 minutes of its release on YouTube. Fans of the actor went crazy with pride and joy after watching the video, which among other things showed actor Ajith Kumar completing a dangerous wheeling stunt on a race bike after falling down for the first time.

The makers of the H. Vinoth-directed film also used the video to express their gratitude to fans, who have stood firm in their support, constantly requesting for updates about the film.

In the video, the team said, “When all was well, COVID-19 made our days difficult. We stood by everyone hoping for light. Hope to live. Expect love. Hope to do what we love. Let’s hope. Despite the tough times, people kept showering their love. It gave us more strength, hope, confidence.”

Thanking Ajith Kumar for his support, hard work and commitment, the filmmakers also showed Ajith falling while attempting a bike stunt.

The video then featured a quote from Mahatma Gandhi – “We may stumble and fall but will rise again; it should be enough if we do not run away from the fight” – proceeding to show Ajith completing the stunt. First.

The film is being produced by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor. Valimai, who is set to hit the screens next year for Pongal, promises to be an action feast and a visual feast for the audience.
