Actor Akhil Akkineni was in the city to promote his upcoming film ‘Agent’ on April 16 (Sunday).
Amidst loud cheers and hoots of the public, the actor performed a stunt by descending from the top of the 172 feet high PVP mall, using ropes. A poster of the film was simultaneously unveiled in the background. The video of the actor performing the stunt has gone viral on social media.
The actor said that the trailer will be launched on April 18 at 7:30 pm in Kakinada.
Vehicular movement was affected for about an hour as people gathered near the mall to catch a glimpse of the actor.
The film starring Akhil Akkineni, Mammootty, Dino Morea and Sakshi Vaidya will hit the theaters on April 28. The film is directed by ‘Dhruv’ and ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ fame Surender Reddy.
