The film is getting good response at the box office from day one. According to the reports, if the film continues to run at this pace then it is on the verge of flopping. Agent was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 70-80 crore.
The film earned Rs 4 crore on Day 1, Rs 67 lakh on Day 2, Rs 43 lakh on Day 3, Rs 17 lakh on Day 4 and Rs 5 lakh on Day 5 in both the Telugu states. most recent report. On its sixth day, 3 May, reports suggested that the film earned around Rs 40 lakh in India. The total collection of Agent is now around Rs 10 crore at the domestic box office.

Meanwhile, due to an unfortunate response in theatres, as per reports, the makers have joined hands with SonyLiv for an early OTT debut. The film will be streamed on May 19, only 21 days after its release.
Looking at the collections so far, producer Anil Sunkara agreed that the film is a disaster. He wrote a note on Twitter saying sorry to the audience. Anil wrote, ‘The full responsibility of the agent should be ours. Though we knew it would be a difficult task, we tried to overcome it but failed as we made the mistake of starting the project without any bound script which resulted in many problems including COVID. We don’t want to make excuses, but we do want to learn from this costly mistake and figure out how we can avoid making similar mistakes in the future. We sincerely apologize to everyone who put their trust in us. We will make up for the loss in our future projects with careful planning and hard work.”
