Akshay Kumar’s mother passes away, calls it ‘unbearable pain’ – Times of India

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumarmother of Aruna Bhatia Left for her heavenly abode on Wednesday morning. Confirming the sad news, the actor took to the social media handle and updated, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the core of my existence. My mother Mrs. Aruna Bhatia left this world this morning to be reunited with her father in another world. I respect your prayers as my family and I are going through this. Peace.”

On Monday, Akshay Kumar returned to Mumbai from London with his ailing mother Aruna Bhatia. The actor was shooting for ‘Cinderella’ with Ranjit Tiwari and suddenly decided to fly back. According to a news portal, Akshay Kumar’s mother was unwell and was admitted to the ICU at a hospital in Mumbai.

Later, he shared an update on his mother and urged his fans to pray for her in an emotional note. He wrote, “Beyond words on your concern for my mother’s health. This is a very difficult time for me and my family. Your every single prayer will help a lot.”

Meanwhile, fans, friends and co-stars of the film fraternity are mourning the unfortunate demise of his mother on social media. Nimrat Kaur tweeted, “Very sorry for your deep loss. Deepest condolences and my heartfelt prayers to you and the entire family in this critical time. Satnam Wahi Guru @akshaykumar”.
